Associate Degree in Supply Chain and Logistic Management prepares students to solve business problems in the global marketplace and understand complexity in operations, logistics and supply chain industries. A broad-based curriculum in the degree covers the design and management of supply chain practices such as inventory planning, procurement, production operations, transportation, distribution, warehousing, retail services, global logistics and supply chain technologies.

The degree includes two capstone subjects Supply Chain Management Strategy, and Logistics Management. This capstone experience will give you the opportunity to critically reflect on and consolidate your theoretical and practical learning in this degree.

After successfully completing the degree you will be eligible to work as a professional in several industrial sectors including aviation, automobile, computing, manufacturing, mining, retailing, shipping, global, transport, distribution and warehousing. Job functions include procurement, inventory planning, operations management, operations research, and event organisations in both private and public sectors.

On the successful completion of this degree, you will be able to:

• Integrate specialist theoretical knowledge with technical skills to provide in-depth professional advice related to business, logistics and supply chain management

The program gives students the advanced knowledge and skill sets that set them apart as an informed professional with a thorough understanding of:

• Modelling approaches for effective problem solving and decision making.
• Technology, process, and people solutions for warehousing, distribution and, transportation operations.
• Inventory management methods that optimize the supply chain, from end to end.
• Purchasing and procurement policies and procedures in varied business settings.
• Metrics for tracking and analyzing supply chain performance.
• Concepts and competencies central to best practices, regulations, and professional ethics.

The course will be run over a period of 2 years and encompasses 18 modules including dissertation. For the first year, nine of the modules would be teaching, another nine modules will be completed in second year and the remaining 8 modules with dissertation work will be completed during the third year. For revision and examination, a break of one week will be given for students.

If the students wish to end up the course after complete 8 modules, Diploma Certificate will be awarded and who complete 18 modules Associate Degree will be awarded.
