UNIVERSITY PREPARATION PROGRAM
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Undergraduate Preparation Program is a specialized course of study delivered at the Eupheus Collegiate. It is designed to prepare the students for the intellectual and linguistic demands of Tertiary Education in the Maldives.
Moreover, this program enabling program for adults aged 16 and over who either do not possess formal qualifications or whose academic qualifications do not satisfy the minimum entry requirements for admission to University Programs. The program has been designed to assess students' academic potential and to provide a realistic environment within which the skills to manage tertiary study can be developed effectively.
A University Preparation Program is a program of study designed to facilitate the successful completion of university-level education of adults who return to higher education through alternative entry routes.

Those who do not meet the general entry criteria are required to do this short program. The program is designed to provide a pathway into university programs for students who return to higher education with relevant work experience after their formal secondary education or those who have acquired level 4 qualification unrelated to the degree they intend to follow PROGRAMME GOALS

This program is developed to fulfilling the entry criteria for the university program and open an opportunity for the student who has completed the lower secondary education with unmatured qualification to start the upper level of education. Some of the Eupheus programs are fully skill-based program which could easily complete by these students.

Thus skilled students perhaps not able to enrol with high-level courses due to entry criteria’s. Therefore, this specific program empowering to those students to reach the top of their education ladder via Eupheus UPP. This program is designed to cover content on classroom teaching fullyPROGRAME OUTCOMES
At the end of the program, students should have acquired all of the following graduate attributes:
- Enrich the literacy and numeracy skill along with presentation skill.

- The capacity to engage in scholarly enquiry
- The ability to engage in independent and reflective learning

GeneralEntry Requirement
- Competition of Grade 10 / SSC (OR)
- Alternative Entry Criteria as per MQA’s Requirement.
Experiences Related to Requirement
- 18 years old, and 1 work experience
- Ability to commutate in the language of instruction.
